Carisma Youth is the teenage ministry at Carisma Church, 1239 Main St E, Hamilton. It exists to give young people a place to belong, to worship, and to ask real questions without being talked down to. Youth from any background are welcome whether or not they or their family attend the church. Check the calendar or call the church for what is running this term.
What is Carisma Youth?
It is the part of the church built for teenagers. The stated aim is to develop hearts of worship and to become more like Jesus through perseverance and support for one another, in an environment that is genuinely fun rather than an adult service with the volume turned down.
Who can come?
Any young person, from any background, whether or not their family goes to church and whether or not they believe any of it yet. Turning up with questions, doubts or nothing at all is a completely normal way to arrive.
When does it run?
Youth nights run through the school year and the pattern changes between terms and holidays, so the calendar is the honest answer rather than a fixed date on this page. You can also call 905-527-5448 and ask what is on this month.
I am a parent. What should I know?
Youth leaders are part of a team within the church, not strangers. If you would like to meet whoever is running it before dropping your teenager off, that is a completely reasonable thing to ask for and the church will arrange it. Call and say so.
