Who is Pastor Wellington?
Pastor Wellington Mariano is the lead pastor of Carisma Church. He leads a church with a long history in east Hamilton: it was founded in 1996 by Pastors Tony and Sara Silveira as a Portuguese-speaking congregation, and it has grown into a multicultural church whose people come from many nations. Carisma belongs to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, and all of its services are in English.
Carisma is in a season of rebuilding under his leadership, and the church is plain about what that means: not the building, but the church itself, relationally and through the people in it.
