Sons of Scripture is a Christian men's ministry that meets at Carisma Church, 1239 Main St E, Hamilton, from 7 to 9 PM on Saturday nights. It alternates weekly between Hamilton and Grimsby, so it is here every other Saturday. There is no registration and no membership. Any man can walk in.
What is Sons of Scripture?
A Christian men's ministry across Hamilton and Grimsby, built on four words it puts on the front of everything: Prayer. Scripture. Brotherhood. Kingdom living.
In its own words, the aim is to “awaken and ignite men under the banner of Christ”, and it is blunt that this is “not passive religion. It is a brotherhood for men who want to be formed by Scripture, sharpened by other men, and sent into faithful Kingdom living.”
When is it at Carisma?
Saturday nights, 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The gathering alternates week by week between the two locations, so it is at Carisma every other Saturday and in Grimsby the weeks in between. Either week, any man is welcome at either one.

Who is it for?
Men. That is the only entry requirement. Sons of Scripture describes who it is aimed at as “men who are tired of drifting: men who want Scripture to hold real authority over their decisions, other men who will tell them the truth, and a place to pray out loud without performing.”
You do not have to attend Carisma, belong to any church, or have any of it worked out. Men come who are sure, men come who are not, and both get the same welcome.
I have never been. What do I do?
Turn up at 7. There is no registration, no sign-up form, no membership and no cost. Nobody will make you read aloud, pray aloud, or say anything at all on your first night. Sitting at the back and listening is a completely normal way to start.
