# Kids at Carisma

Carisma Kidz runs alongside the 10:30 AM Sunday service at 1239 Main St E, Hamilton. Children check in and receive a name tag with a matching pick-up tag for the adult who brought them, so nobody else can collect them. Children join the congregation for worship first, then go to their own programme. There is no cost and no need to book.

## What happens on a Sunday?

Children come into the main room with everyone else for worship, then head to their own programme for teaching at their age level. You collect them at the end. If you are needed during the service, your child's number appears on the screen in the main room rather than anyone coming to find you.

## How do you keep children safe?

Every child is checked in at a station on the way in. The child gets a name tag and the adult who brought them gets the matching pick-up tag, and the child is only released to the person holding it. Leaders are on a team, not ad hoc volunteers pulled in on the day.

## What are you actually trying to do with my child?

Three things, in the church's own words: partner with parents rather than replace them, train the leaders properly, and help children grow together in God's love. Nobody is trying to get between you and your child.

## Do you run summer camps or PA day camps?

Yes. Carisma Kidz has run affordable camps through the summer break, built around life and social skills, physical activity, discovering what each child is good at, and building confidence, alongside the friendships that make a summer memorable.

Camp dates for the coming year are not listed on this page on purpose. Ask the church rather than trusting a date on a website that might be a year out.

## It is our first time. What do we do?

Arrive a few minutes before 10:30 and find the check-in station; someone will walk you through it. You do not need to book, register in advance, or bring anything. If your child has an allergy, a medical need, or does not do well being left, tell the team at check-in and they will work around it.
